- To comply with, and exceed where practicable, all applicable legislation, regulations and codes of practice.
- Consider and assess, taking appropriate action where necessary to continually improve environmental and sustainability practice.
- To ensure that employees at all levels are aware of their responsibility for good environmental and sustainability practices, offering training and information where necessary.
- This Policy is to be displayed and available to all employees, including Sub-contractors.
- Audits to be carried out on environmental and sustainability performance.
- To review, annually report and to continually strive to improve our environmental and sustainability performance.
- To integrate environmental and sustainability considerations into all our business decisions.
- To minimise the impact on environmental and sustainability of all office and transportation activities.
- To make clients and suppliers aware of our Sustainability and Environmental Policy and to adapt sound sustainable and environmental management practices.
The Managing Director will be responsible for ensuring the implementation of this Policy and to undergo, as reasonably as practicable, the following:
- All work is to be carried out in accordance with the Policy.
- Measures are taken to prevent any surface, underground or atmospheric pollution.
- Noise pollution is kept to a minimum, as far as is reasonably practicable.
- Vehicle exhaust pollutants are kept to a minimum.
- Material waste is kept to a minimum, as far as is reasonably practicable.
- Water and energy are conserved and the use of recycled materials is promoted wherever possible.
- Environmental accidents are investigated and dealt with and preventative measures are enforced to prevent further occurrences.
- Promote and convince to clients and customers, that the strict implementation of the vision and codes of practice, relative to a sustainable environment, are of paramount importance for future generations in our increasingly fragile World.
